Once the online portion of the class is completed, Print the Certificate of Completion. 

 Then call for an appointment for a skills session to receive an AHA PALS  Card / Certificate.

 Skills Session requires estimated 1 hour.  Skills Session : Cost $60 pp.

PALS Initial or Recertification Class.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Course will enhance the skills in the treatment of the Pediatric victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. PALS emphasizes the importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival; the integration of effective basic life support with advanced pediatric life support interventions; and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation. 

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. 

 Intended Audience Registered nurses, physicians, emergency technicians, respiratory therapists, emergency personnel in Intensive Care or Critical Care departments, emergency medical providers, and other professionals whose jobs require completion of a written test and successful skills performance. 

Course Pre-requisites • Current AHA ACLS Provider card (Recert only). • Precourse Self-Assessment test with a score of 70% or higher (registrants must bring a printout of the test to class; no admittance without the precourse self-assessment test with a passing score).
